A staple at past Toronto World Lindy Hop Day celebrations, the Silent Auction is a great place to catch your breath, browse, and if you’re lucky, pick up some snazzy swing prizes (Saturday Night of TO WLHD is this years auction).
Past auctions items have included private lessons with many of Toronto’s top Lindy Hop instructors, vintage housewares, swing-styled art, clothes, and accessories, gift certificates to our favourite vintage and retro boutiques, and so much more (including a Clothing Consignment Sale).
Also – to add to the fun, 25% of the total proceeds for the WLHD weekend will be donated to the Frankie Manning Foundation, with the rest going to fund Lindy Hop initiatives right here in Toronto (Note: TLH is a Not-For-Profit Organization). So pick your favourite item and bid to win!
Night of the Auction: We will accept Cash & Credit at the auction. It will run from 8:30pm-11:15pm on the 2nd floor of the Dovercourt.
Saturday Night Dance at the Dovercourt House is with the 18 piece big band ‘Martin Loomer & the Orange Devils’ with late night Funk/Soul DJ Party. Cost: $40 at the door only (full weekend passes for Friday & Saturday Night avail online till Thursday at Midnight).
