For all you folks coming to Winterstock here’s a packing list we pulled together to help you with your packing.  This is a pretty extensive list and you may not want to bring all of this.  If we missed anything please let us know!

 

General Indoor and Dance clothes

  1. Shirts, pants, skirts, socks, underwear, dance shoes, slippers, for indoor wear and dancing
  2. Toiletries
  3. Lunch pack
  4. Earplugs & sleeping mask
  5. Alcoholic beverages if you so choose
  6. Drinking cup (non-breakable please!)
  7. Thermos/water bottle
  8. Camera
  9. Musical Instruments
  10. Sunblock and lip balm w/ S.P.F. Of 20-40
  11. Hand sanitizer
  12. First Aid Kit (there’s a first aid kit on-site but it’s always good to have extras around just in case)
  13. Flashlight and extra batteries
  14. Phone and iPod chargers
  15. iPod or laptop if you plan to DJ!
  16. Any medication you require (e.g. After-Bite, Epi Pens, pain killers, anti-histamine, etc.)
  17. Snack food
  18. Cooler (if you bring food/beverages that need to be refrigerated)

Note that all beds at the Wolf Den have a pillow, sheets and blankets provided. Bring extra if you think you will need it.

Winter Specific Clothing

Head:

  1. Wool/Fleece Balaclava or Toque for outdoor wear
  2. Wool/Fleece Balaclava or Toque for sleeping/spare
  3. Ski Goggles or Sunglasses (UV Protected)

Body:

  1. 2 Sets Long Underwear – Medium Weight
  2. (Polypropylene/silk/wool or equivalent)
  3. Regular Underwear & T-Shirts (wicking types best)
  4. Medium Weight Shirt or Sweater (Fleece/Wool)
  5. Jacket or Sweater for layering (Fleece/Wool/synthetic)
  6. Wind Jacket with Hood (Nylon or Gore-tex)
  7. Medium Weight Pants (Fleece)
  8. Wind Pants and/or snow pants (Nylon or Gore-tex)
  9. Fleece Vest
  10. Belt or Suspenders
  11. Winter parka with hood

Hands:

  1. Gloves (Fleece/Wool)
  2. Mittens (Fleece)
  3. Over-Mitts (Gore-tex/synthetic)

Feet:

  1. 2+ pairs Liner Socks (Polypropylene)
  2. 2+ pairs Heavy Socks (Wool Blend or Fleece)
  3. Winter Boots (with spare liner)
  4. Hiking Boots (as spare footwear or for
  5. snowshoeing if boots don’t fit snowshoes)
  6. Slippers

Rain-Gear (just in case):

  1. Gore-tex or Nylon Rain Jacket (must fit over
  2. stacked layers)
  3. Gore-tex or Nylon Rain Pants (must fit over
  4. stacked layers)
