Welcome to Lindystock 2017!

Registration OPEN Less then 5 spots left (July 9th Update)! RSVP to the Facebook Invite to receive up to date information.

Each summer dancers head north to the borders of historic Algonquin Park near Huntsville, Ontario for Lindystock.  Lindystock is a dance event held in a wilderness setting with the comforts of a lodge, bunkhouses and so much more.  Food, beds, bedding, kitchen, indoor and outdoor bathrooms and showers, kitchen, lounge and sauna will await you when you return from hiking, canoeing, swimming and of course dancing.  And bring your instruments and talents for the Variety show and nightly campfires.

This year Lindystock will be held from Friday, August 4th to Monday, August 7th and will again be held at the Wolf Den Hostel, just a few kilometres west of Algonquin Park and adjacent to the Oxtongue River.  The Wolf Den is also only one kilometer from Algonquin Outfitters and a 15 min walk to scenic Ragged Falls.  The Wolf Den attracts visitors from around the world who want the convenience and comfort of a rustic lodge and bunkhouses after exploring the natural beauty of the area. See more about the Wolf Den and related links at the Wolf Den website.

The Wolf Den has several types of rooms and cabins available for you to select when you register. There is a “pay-one-price” for the entire weekend, with lodging and all meals included.  We kindly ask that in the spirit of the wilderness and to build a communal atmosphere that you sign up to help for one meal shift during the weekend.

Dorm Rooms ($150) – These rooms are excellent for folks on a tight budget. These are large post-and-beam rooms with high ceilings, each room hosting up to 8 people in single beds.

Main Lodge & Bunkhouses ($165) – These include small cabins, bunkhouses (private quarters in small, multi-user lodges with a private, outdoor entrance), and bedrooms in the main lodge. Guests staying in this type of accommodation enjoy the privacy of their own sleeping quarters but share bathroom, kitchen, and lounge facilities with others staying at the hostel. These rooms host 2 to 6 people per room.

Timber Trail Cabins ($190) – Guests staying in these cabins enjoy their own bathroom, living room, deck, kitchen, barbecue and wood stove. Each cabin has been built with a keen respect for the environment, using local, sustainably harvested woods, reclaimed materials, non-toxic paints and stains, and high quality insulating techniques and other energy-conserving practices. These eco-cabins house 4 to 6 people per cabin.
