Just like last year, we have plenty fun activities planned for Lindystock! See below for details on some of the great things to do while at the lodge site.
There will be DJ’d dancing every night starting around 9 pm and midnight late night blues on Saturday and Sunday nights in the ambience of the loft lounge. The lofts’ décor includes classic woodsy artifacts, a gas fireplace and a wood floor.
On Saturday afternoon we have organized a number of activities designed to incorporate the local environment, facilities and attractions. Most activities will occur between 1:00 and 5:00pm. Join in a game of volleyball, tag along on an Interpretive Hike, explore spectacular Ragged Falls Provincial Park or grab a paddle for a canoe trip of the Oxtonge River and Ragged Falls. In previous years there have also been Art Battles, Lindystock Olympics, yoga and a host of other activities.
Jugglers, singers, ventriloquists, magicians, actors, dancers, musicians, contortionists, poets and entertainers extraordinaire, real or imagined, needed for the Lindystock Variety Show. Come with a prepared act or put one together with people you meet before the show. Sign up before the show and prepare for adoration and accolades from the assembled throng.
Each night we will have a campfire to relax, hang, sing and tell stories by. Wood and log seating provided.
You are welcome to enjoy our organized events or enjoy the on-site amenities, local attractions and natural beauty on your own schedule. The Wolf Den features a sauna, loft lounge with books, cards, board games, couches and fireplace, on-site forest, campfire, screened gazebo and wood chip volleyball court. Algonquin Outfitters is only 1 kilometer away and features an equipment and outdoor clothing store and bike, kayak and canoe rentals. Ragged Falls is a 15 min hike away and the West Gate of Algonquin Park is an 8 km drive. Check out the links on the Wolf Den websitefor more details.
Here’s the tentative schedule of activities for Lindystock and we will update the afternoon activities shortly. Please note that start times are approximate but we hope to stay on schedule as much as we possibly can. We have also arranged both on and off site activities each day as well as rain day activities in case the weather doesn’t cooperate.
