FRIDAY NIGHT: Lindyworks Friday Night Dance w/ ‘Alex Pangman & Her Alleycats’ & Partner Mix Prelims Competition at Dovercourt House (Dancers Guaranteed)
Location: Dovercourt House 1st Floor (805 Dovercourt Rd)
Time:8:45pm-Midnight
Cost: Free for Workshop Pass Holders, $15 at the Door for Non Pass Holders.
Partner Mix Comp (at Door $5): Entrants will be paired with different partners of the opposite role over several songs. In this round, contestants will be judged individually. Prelims will happen at the Friday night dance during a band break to DJed music.

Join Lucy Falkner and Meghan Gilmore for a 70 min. vernacular jazz class with the ladies of Lindyworks as they help us with movement, share their style, and inspire us to get solo jazzin’ on the dance floor. This is not a beginner class. So please be familiar with basic solo vernacular jazz moves such as the ones in the Shim Sham (e.g. tacky annie, shorty george, pushes, shim sham, half breaks etc.).
This class is an add-on to the regular workshop. It’s available to all but discounted for both early registration and full workshop participants
For workshop pass holders: $20 in advance (online).
For non-registrants: $30 at the door (class only) or $35 for the combined class & dance in advance (online).
