Sure, we can lindy hop? but what about Salsa? Blues? Jazz? Contemporary? Tap? Theatre? Rock n? Roll? Motown? Cane tricks? Acrobatics? Ballet?? Yes we Can-Can!
Join the incomparable Emcee Yamos as he navigates the talent-polluted waters of Toronto’s Lindy Hop community. Come swoon to our musicians, laugh with our masters of improv, and debate that age-old question: Can men and women really be “just friends??”
And that’s not all! New for 2013, come early to soak in the multi-media brilliance of Lindy hopping visual artists at our TLH Gallery.
Wait, there’s more! We couldn’t possibly have that many lindy hoppers in one room without letting you dance, now could we? NO! Get yer swing on with Bertie and the Gents after the show and take breathers by snapping goofy pics in front of our photo backdrop, a TLH tradition.
And that’s still not all! Stay late for some gritty “Blooz-Until-Twooz,” presented in conjunction with Toronto Blues Dances.
