THURSDAY: Lindy Hop Revolution goes to the Beaches Streetfest to Dance (Dancers Guaranteed)
About: The Beaches Jazz Festival is an annual music festival held in the Toronto Beaches neighborhood. Queen Street East is closed for 15 blocks between Woodbine Avenue and Beech Avenue and more than 30 bands set up on the street and play sets from 7pm to 11pm! Not all of it is jazz (despite the festival name!), but the Toronto All-Star Big Band, Patrick Tevlin and his New Orleans Rhythm, and the Downtown Dixieland Jazz Band are there along with a few bluesy bands that are fun to dance to.
Location: Queen Street East (Between Woodbine & Beech Avenue).
NOTE: There is no meeting place for dancers. Just come and walk through the festival until you see some lindy hoppers and then just hop right in!

Each summer dancers head north to the borders of historic Algonquin Park near Huntsville, Ontario for Lindystock. Lindystock is a dance event held in a wilderness setting with the comforts of a lodge, bunkhouses and so much more. Food, beds, bedding, kitchen, indoor and outdoor bathrooms and showers, kitchen, lounge and sauna will await you when you return from hiking, canoeing, swimming and of course dancing. And bring your instruments and talents for the Variety show and nightly campfires.
